He is Senior Business Development Manager for SCEE, a completely different company to SCEA. He thought SCEA had sealed down Type O for Vita and got excited because, believe it or not, he's actually a passionate gamer and had been campaigning hard himself to get Type O brought to Vita. People really need to understand who works for who and what their remit is before shooting off vitrious drivel that is completely unjustified. Without Shahid, Vita's post 2012 Western output would have made the Virtual Boy look good. |
It doesn't matter who he's employed with. It could have been IGN that posted the news and it'd still be the same. He's supposedly been trying to get the game on the Vita for awhile now so he should have known whether it succeeded or not. He linked to the blog and made a #jrpgvita comment like the game came to the Vita because of his doing. But the comment he made about the game being because of him backfired, because the game isn't even on Vita, AND it's on the Xbox One as well. He was trying to make it look like the reason we got the game was because of him. If you'd take off your Sony fan goggles for just one second maybe you'd be able to see that.
