Poor Vita... However, we need to understand that Sony and Nintendo are companies with different focus and in different financial situations.
Nintendo is a company of work only with gaming, if they just abandon a system, they will lose a lot of respect and the confidence of their customers, and that can be the end of their business, this is why they will fight for the Wii U during all his life time. In other hand, Sony is a really big electronic company, that has, today, really big financial problems (remember that Nintendo has his wallets full of the money, thanks to the Wii and DS), so, Sony need to focus on the products that can bring money, and now, PS Vita isn't on that list.
