Other than that, I mostly agree with your arguments. I love the guy's enthusiasm, but he's just as much a fanboy of PC as we have Sony fanboys, Microsoft fanboys, and Nintendo fanboys.
Console gaming will NEVER go full digital distribution or even 50%+ digital distribution where PC gaming is quickly heading. By its nature Console Gaming is designed to appeal to the casual crowd, much of which will never connect their game systems to the internet. His logic in this is inherently flawed.
I don't think there is any danger of console gaming dying, but nor is there a danger of PC gaming dying.
