abso-fucking-lutely.
The live events were full of crappy presenters, technical difficulties, fake demos, and clearly pushed 'ooooh ahhhh'. It was so crappy.
Nintendo's showed better quality demo/trailers with excellent humor and scripting. A far better experience. On top of that they continued the innovation with the regular live feed on the floor with great reveals and interviews.
That is how it is done and I'll be pissed if they ever go back.
