I prefer devil may cry series over the (recent) ninja gaiden series due to the simple fact that there has been 3/4 good DMC games to just 1 good NG game. im not sure if the DS game is any good or if it even links to the story in the first. Im however willing to bet that NG2 will be better than DMC4. but DMC3 is still the best of the DMC bunch for me.
the old school ninja gaiden games were great.
