It has been said before, but ultimately, Sony, MS and Ninty are businesses. The real winner is the one who gets the bigger boost in sales or in the case of ps4, if it keeps outselling xb1 and wiiu. Online people can declare winners all they want, but if the positive online reaction does not translate to sales, what kind of victory would that be?
As for the people saying, "the gamers won". I definitely agree.
Based on reactions that I've been seeing, it seems to me that it's a tie. But saying that Ninty/Sony won "hands down" just because you're not actually interested in Sony/Ninty games is just silly.
