Edge is Pro-industry more than pro-Insert-a-company-name. But from the announcement and following weirdness from MS about Xbone was hard to ignore. Sony proposed the better industry wide solution (easier access to get indie games on their console and generally being more open like F2P being F2P and cross platform play).
But with recent MS changes for the good, I'm sure they will settle into the familiar partner that have been, giving out more 10s then ever before yet also being harsh reviewers and just praising inovative stuff. They'll love Project Spark no doubt.
