well say if sony does indeed bundle it in with a PS4? FOR $499?
and markets turn another tv into a playstation TV! the point being "like THE NAME apple TV" or Google TV and Amazon fire HD tv, how is the sales for those devices going right now?
but say Sony comes in now and promotes the "playstation TV" V's Look at Amazons Fire TV and now think if playstation does the same which box will sale more?
I think the name change in this case was decided on for good reason, its still a PSVita but to most consumers its going to be seen as a brand new product even though its a PSVita..its not really about the console market in this case its the topset market and i think Sony may be set to disrupt the Niche market of topset boxes like Roku. with this and repurpose of the PSVita for this market has a real good chance to do such that.
it will be a cheap console for lil kids rooms, and instead of paying $400 to $500 this christmas they can buy a "playstation TV" for $99.00 for a child for christmas this year if they cannot get a PS4.
