Microsoft didn't do a price cut.  They removed features and it was out of desperation.  Sony had no need to do the same.

People are suggesting it as a way of a Fatality, Finisher, Final Punch, twisting the knife, ect.

I mean imagine if Xbox One removes Kinect and cuts price $100 (they did), then PS4 adds their Eyetoy (kinect) and doesn't raise price.

Or I recently read that PS4 is making profit on each unit sold now, so they could lower price and do the loss again.  So just lower price $50 and bam they are cheaper AGAIN versus Xbox One.

But instead they kept the same price and same features and now it will be a battle, a fair battle one could say and interesting to see what system peopel jump onto when upgrading now.  Seeing as 90% of both conferences were Multiplats with touting Early access to dlc, features, beta ect.  Each system has their own exclusives enough to make the system appealing over the other.  So what will be the deciding facotr now in purchasing.  The $100 barrier isn't there anymore.
