Sony's E3 show seemed to be what some people hate about MS.

Slow middle part aside, Sony out-gamed MS. The library of games that were showcased had a lot more variety. MS's conference was too conservative and this prevented MS from "winning" E3. I give the win to Sony, but by a small margin. Margin would've been larger if not for the boring middle part.
