Actually, the safest thing to assume is the 360 is ahead because, OFFICIALLY, it is.

Now that might change, it might change tonight, but right now that is how it is.

I agree with your points but I think the safest thing to assume is that really at this point no one is ahead because the race has long been over. At this point it just seems silly and desperate for anyone to care about these numbers. The only significance they have now is what their profit can do for current gen so in that sense its great that they are still making sales, but it doesn't really matter.
