Sony can have a better showing, but they'll definitely have to work for it.

It won't be like last year where Sony can just capitalize on Microsoft's stupidity and just win E3 by holding the status quo. This time they'll have to really pull out the big guns to outdo Microsoft's solid conference.

I'm sorry, but I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong with me or if something is wrong with everyone else.

Microsofts solid performance????????

Can someone pls tell me what was "solid" about this show? Or does showing mostly multiplats and CG make a solid performance? Hell, even their halo 5 was a 15sec CGI clip.

They announced/showed games back to back for 90 minutes with no BS from executives. It was just developers up on stage demoing their games, which is exactly what I like to see from a press conference.

Sure there was an overuse of CG for quite a few games, but I appreciated the fact that there were so many games (decent split between multiplats and exclusives) was commendable. Keep in mind that I understand in this day and age 3rd parties rarely go exclusive and I don't expect them to show 90 minutes of 1st party exclusives. Even Sony with their worldwide studios couldn't do that. So I'm happy with seeing multiplats being premiered in these conferences as long as there are exclusives to go along with them.
