MS didn't seem to learn from the 360. This time they dictated to the customer and pushed more as a multiple use machine, made the X1 less developer friendly compared to the PS4, Price compared to the PS4.
It's almost an exact reversal when you look at the higher level strategic direction.
PS3 adapted to become more game centric and now the X1 is doing the exact same thing.
