a console that caters to america and only america is not going to outsell the ps2. its impossible. you have to cater to all three territories and have something that everybody can own the console for.
i actually just made a thread called greatest reasons for sonys success with the ps4 or whatever, i dont really even remember what it was called, but i just made it and its a discussion about why sony is selling so well. and i think after the discussion, people would be able to clearly see that there is no way its going to gain ps2-like marketshare, but it already seems that many people already see that anyway.
