Sony: The Last Guardian Is In Full Development. UPDATE: IGN Appologises.

Now I just want to know; 1.) Why'd it take so long to tell people this and 2.) Why'd it take so long to develop the game?

I was never going to buy the game, but the fact it took nearly a decade to even hint at it being in "full development" intrigues me.
