And what makes you think it won't? Most likely one of the main reasons both consoles moved to x86 archticture. It makes perfect sense. And will cut down on future console development costs etc. Consoles will still have benefits of things just "working" and not the whole playing around with settings to get things to work.. Just 2 settings.. simple and easy. It is not like this hasn't already happened in the days past of consoles gaming.. simple power upgrades.. Sega 32x.. Nitendo 64 expension pack.. etc.. This would just be taking it to a more natural evolution. |
