Yup, its lacking what every Killzone before it lacked, just that its more apparent with KZ:SF. Its not enough to just have awesome tech guys in your studio and call it a day. What GG needs is to adopt naughty dogs dev method. GET A CREATIVE DIRECTOR.
Naughty dog's games have two directors. a technical director and a creative director. The creative director is in charge of the games art direction, story, music, scenario, characters....etc. Then the tech director is in charge of the games engine and making it run however it runs.
