The problem with that post you quoted is I'm ignoring why all the fans think it's good. I'm only pointing out the fact that a lot of people mention time and time again that Final Fantasy 13 is a 20 hour hallway when Final Fantasy 10 is also a long hallway with a little more content to it. It's not about any of either games contents, it's about the one complaint that commonly keeps getting brought up about 13 yet the same complaint could also be used for Final Fantasy 10.
I'm not a fan of either game, each game has many things wrong with them, but the one similar problem with both is that there are long instances in which they are point A to point B and there are a lot of Final Fantasy 10 fans that adore the game and use that same complaint for FInal Fantasy 13. Hence this topic. I'm certain people will say that they've never said as such or try and divert other things such as the additional gameplay segments to dissuade that but I'm just pointing out what is most likely undoubtedly true for most of the fanbase that loves FF10 and hates 13.
