Man, GT5-P is an awesome "game". It actually has a alot to do. Online is great excpet you get little bastards that purposely knock you out. I hate to play dirty but If it keeps happening I'm gunna ram the shit out of their car. :P

I called this over six months ago. If Polyphony doesn't do something about damage and the bump-and-slide tactics in the final release (and not some bullshit time penalty either), they will lose a sale to me and I will continue playing Forza 2 until 3 releases.

Shit, my buddies and I have been doing that trick to each other since GT1. Online, I can only imagine what kind of antics 12 year olds will pull to annoy everyone on the server. Give me the option to play in damage-only races or I won't buy the game. That way I can stay away from the juvenile clownshoes who just want to smash into each other with no repurcussions.

You think damage is going to stop anyone from acting retarded online then you are mistaken, damage will encourage more nonsense. Lets see what happens to your ferrari when my pick-up hits it full speed while i'm going in the other direction on the track, atleast i won't be in last place after that crash. Then you have the other 14 cars coming up on the crash, i don't think they can all avoid it. Now i just wrecked the game for atleast half the players because there is damage.

Have you played Forza online? I have, for hours and hours and hours, most of it with damage enabled. All you have to do is avoid the idiots in the first corner and you're good to go. If they're trying to rocketship into the first corner, just let them go and then the entire race, you're home free.

Remember that if they're trying to kamikazee you in damage mode, they get one shot at you. After that, their car is out of commission for the rest of the race. If there is no damage mode, they can either catch up or sit in wait and nail you next lap.

I get the feeling that most people who argue against damage haven't actually played a game online that has a decent way of implementing it.

Besides, what is the harm in offering options for those of us who want it? It's an inane argument that reeks of fanboyism. All I'm asking for is the option to keep players who think playing bumper cars is fun out of my races. It's not an unreasonable request.
