They'll probably get kicked out no matter what, even if they would somehow finish The Last Guardian. 9 years without a game at the moment.

Well, at least if it releases there's a (slim) chance that it'll be a smash hit, or at least a huge critical success. I'd still expect some major changes down at SCEJ, though. Perhaps they'll be assimilated into another studio.
