4. I have no definitive yes if my downloads will work on my PS3 in 20 years. Look at Wii's NWFC. It's dead. All the stores/shop channels can have that fate in the next 10 years. While my cart or disc on my shelf will work. The only digital games I have are from promo's. But eventually I buy a physical copy of the digital game. Like I recetnly bought the back to the future game, Minecraft PS3, and Ducktales. If Marvel VS Capcom 2 was physical I would of bought it. Since its not, I got the ps2 copy. Plus I can't stand downloading 20GB files. When i just install them in a few minutes from disc. Run out of HDD space. Whocares. Delete and reinstall later from the disc. Then redownloading that 20GB.

Plus I maintain and repair my game systems. Even if a disc drive fails I can replace them. I have a 21 year old Famicom and its disk system. All working like new. Change cart batteries, clean the contacts. I still play with my ROB in Stack-up. And I never scratch my discs ever. All my disc games work. If you or someone throws around your discs, or don't care if you touch the bottom. That's your fault. I have music CD's from the 80's that are perfectly fine.
