My reasons why i perfer physical:
1: I can resell my games and get some credit for them. I only trade in several games and only when there is some kind of extra trade in program. (50% extra in store credit) I cant do that with digital.
2: I would never buy a full digital game for full price. The only way for me to buy a digital game is if it is cheap.
3: I sometimes wait for sales on consoles and get games at good prices. Example is like Black friday.
I buy lots of games on black friday. One example was 2 years ago i bought about 11 games during BF. I spend about $120 in total (most were recent releases) I played them all and traded them in at gamestop(couple of months later). They had a 50% extra trade in credit, 60% for pro members. I got $220 in store credit for all those games so i won in the end. I got paid to pay every single one of those and that is something i do every year. Games that release after september are usually games that i buy during BF. That is one huge advantage for me and i obviously cant do that with digital games.
I bought thief digital for $30 and finished it. Guess what? Target was offering triple the value about a week ago for trade ins. They were gonna give me $40 for thief but sadly i bought it digital.
I would buy more digital games but at cheaper prices or if microsoft does make a way where i can buy/trade in/resell or loan digital games.
