Common sense? ^^; Anyone with a decent PC who previously saw DR3 as a reason in favor of buying an X1 no longer will. That "hurts" Xbox. I never implied that the impact would be huge, simply that the X1 needs every sale it can get right now.

Not sure what MS's support with windows would has to do with anything. This rumor is about it coming to steam, that would encourage people to use SteamOS more than it would stop them. Not to mention if Capcom are the ones publishing it then MS don't get a penny from this, so have no incentive to be the ones behind it (they wouldn't allow an X1 exclusive to become available on Steam for teh lulz).

Your common sense ignores some of the best selling 8th gen games have PC ports.
