VGChartz is being ridiculous here, as Nintendo officially published these figures as of 31/03 :

Nintendo 3DS : 43,33 mil (VGChartz 24/05 : 42,97 mil)

Nintendo Wii U : 6,17 mil (VGChartz 24/05 : 6,10 mil)

Nintendo Wii : 101,06 mil (VGChartz 24/05 : 100,66 mil)

So 3DS is probably at 44,1 mil and Wii U is probably at 6,45 mil as of 24 may.


Nintendos numbers are shipped to retailer.

VGchartz numbers are sold from retailer to consumers.

In addition to that, VGChartz numbers are estimates and are expected to have a small % of error.

Anyway, the bar chart on the front page is still going up and down like the keys of a pianola while the adjustments are going through - let's wait until the dust settles.
