They haven't announced sold, they announced shipped. And by their shipping schedule, there is no chance that they have shipped another million consoles in the slow spring quarter.

And given their global weekly numbers, they will sell between 500 - 600 K this quarter.

There will be no announcements because there is nothing to announce, they will concentrate on the future.

Well they will say 6 million sold to retailers. 

I think they will make an annoucement. If not 6 million shipped then 5 million sold to consumers. 

But they will not be able to ship that many by E3. Unless they take overstock back, take out Kinect, repackage the console and count it twice...

Also, announcing 5 mil sold to consumers would be such a bad PR move, practically admitting that their product is selling poorly at retail level.

If they announce any numbers it will be some random Titanfall stats, average app usage, time spent Skyping and similar...

They need to focus the consumer on their plans for.the future, and not dwell much on the past.
