lmaobox said: Not to rile up the Xbone fans here, but I think that SONY will once again stomp Microsoft at this year's E3. Microsoft's strategy was to release everything at last year's E3 in order 'make up' for the disastrous xbone reveal. On top of that, I bet they were expecting titanfall to carry them until Halo 5 came. They never expected titanfall to shift so little units. They were expecting Xbone to sell at least 100k/week throughout the remainder of the year. Obviously, that's not happening. As soon as they saw how 'poorly' the Xbone was still selling even after titanfall landed, they probably green-lit a ton of projects from their 1st party studios, but do we really expect any game to be ready for preview in just 2 months? I doubt it. I expect a ton of multiplats, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 2, and a preview of the next Gears for Microsoft's E3 this year. SONY played it smart. They knew they had the momentum last year and withheld their exclusive lineup. I think SONY knows that this year is the year they can "kill" the Xbox if they release a lot of megatons at this year's E3. The damage would be too catastrophic for the Xbox to recover then. Microsoft is scared out their minds right now. They know the end is approaching in a few days. |
Exactly how I see it. I think Sony are going to show more new IPs this E3 than they've ever done in the past, and I think there'll be a couple of huge suprises that are blasts from the past too. If they can top it all off with Project Beast and TLG, then It could put the final nail in the coffin for the XB1 (in America). It's finished for them in Europe and they're not going to fair any better than Sony in Japan.
You don't send out free cinema tickets if you have nothing to show.
