I bought a 23" all in one PC for my kids and they love it, Especially the touch screen. They do homework and watch Netflix on it.  They all have tablets too, so the windows 8 interface is easier to them.

As far as the 27" screen goes, that is too small to me.  I have a 70" for my XB1 and tv/movie watching.  I have a 55" downstairs that has the PS3/WiiU on it. I have a 42" TV with the 360 on it that is pretty much only used by my oldest son to play COD/Halo/BF4/Minecraft on.   I have 4 kids, so you need lots of places to play!

I'm on a 23" monitor atm, which works well enough, so 27" is actually an upgrade :p
