I know this may sound blasphemous, but could it be that Japan is just not going to be terribly important in the console wars this year? If you can outsell your closest competitor three times over and still have someone consider your week a flop, then maybe it's not Nintendo's fault but the region's?

I really want to see how the sales for the rest of the world go. If the Wii U manage to pull ahead in Europe, which is likely as PS4 sold 45,000 units and we know between France and the UK alone the Wii U sold at least 32,000, and pulls within reach in America, then I'd be hesitant to call this week a flop for Nintendo.

How long until we here from all regions?
