Arm tabs are a lot weaker and cant play PC games, x86 tabs can. an they will win the tab market, because intel is the biggest fish and they are heavily focused an x86. and there are some realy strom tabs. razer has one thats around the xbone in power, but its not cheap atm. |
Dude don't make me laugh. You've got only a tiny inkling about computer hardware. Razer Edge? LOL. That's using a 640M LE. That LE? Means it's less powerful than a regular 640M. Btw, the 640M is less powerful than the GPU in the Xbox One, and the CPU ain't no great shakes either. Another one of the low power i5's that are only about as good as AMD's low power offerings. Intel is making great strides, but claiming that the craptastic Razer Edge is anywhere near the performance of an Xbox One is funny. Not to mention the awful battery life on that thing. I think it's somewhere between 1-2 hours using the GPU to game? That costs the whole benefit of having a tablet, the portability.
You're right about most ARM processors being weaker than similar x86, but not all. Intel's struggling to get the right performance from their low power CPU/GPU combo's, and higher end ARM processors used in tablets are still neck and neck for performance. Android has support for x86 processors, and a few tablets even use them. I think the Dell Venue 8 has one (not the Pro, so you don't look up the wrong one). They can't play 32 bit games, that's true. iOS, last I knew, is switching to 64 - bit. Windows tabs are nice, I own one, and like it, but I don't know that they'd ever outsell the casual crowd buying iPads and Android tabs. Windows 8 is a great OS, imo, for tablets. Decent on desktop, and that's what I run on my computer, but only decent.
By the way, Windows tabs like the Dell Venue 8 Pro and Lenovo whatcha-ma-callit are 32-bit for around $220. That's pretty darn cheap. Most people don't want Windows on their tablets though, or so the sales figures claim.
On a related note, why are you still arguing this? You keep giving faulty information. I'm not trying to be rude, but you keep coming back with incorrect stuff over and over.
