Well, 927 is a large enough number to provide a statistically valid result.  The problem is that they didnt use a random sampling, relying on respondants to a mailed survey.  

Still, I would be surprisied if it was more than 10-15% swing in either direction if a more accurate sampling was taken.  Either way it isnt exactly good news for microsoft... Still, the gen is early and most people dont really notice new hardware until gets to the $300 price range.
