Yeah, putting it against a rival riles people up. That's why you leave it alone when it's in the 30s, occassionally upvote it when it's in the 20s while putting it against an unpopular game or at least an indirect competitor, consistently upvote it in the teens to get to the 20s at least, and when it's single digits upvoting is just a stall tactic to get people to ignore the next game you root for. Thing is exclusives get targeted the whole game by a few haters of the respective 1st party, so they're more vulnerable to wars starting over them. Hence why SO and The Order went down quickly because they were both exclusive pitted against each other. JRPGs had a similar problem from people who just hate eastern games, hence why X never stood a chance as both an exclusive and a JRPG. It's amazing it outlasted FFXV. Games like Dragon Age and The Witcher are western and 3rd party, thus they took several times to be put against each other before it really took off.
