This game is fu*king frustrating on hard. I'm not familiar with the battle system and gameplay mechanics at all and the blocking and dodging does not respond as well as GOW:COO and DMC. And when i die, i have to watch entire cutscenes without the options to skip. Hard difficultly may be a good option for people that understand the intermediate mechanics and controls of the game, but it's not good for someone playing it for the first time.
