Dont bother with him DonFerrari, complex storys get labeled as bad by lots of ppl in a hearthbeat cause theyre not easy to grasp and most gamers/movie are just too lazy to put some effort into understanding the story. And watching a playtrough of someone bashing the story as your first exposure to said story realy helps you buil;ding your own opinion right ? I imagine how it wouldve turn out if you had watched a video of someone praising the story non stop instead. |
Well I was disagreing with him because I think he was bashing the game mainly because it isn't possible on ninty platform. I found the history simple and engaging enough to follow and not generic. And I agree simpler histories and telling/writting methods get more love nowadays. Lot easier to find a Harry Potter or Crepuscule fan than a Ulysses one. And I hope no one try to arguee which is the best book/history (maybe using the technique x creativity argument... Like is harder to make a cell shaded animation than recriate venice, because one you have to imagine and the other you just need to copy. Then I bet is harder to write a picture book where you need to draw the fantastic characters than writting an aerodynamics book in which you just copy theories and formulas, or writting LOTR that is just a narrated dictionary).
