So I need a new computer and was considering building my own.  However I find building rather tedious and don't really care all that much for it.

I found this bundle deal that actually looks really really good for me and wanted to get some opinions to see if I'm missing anything.

 Bundle Cost: $870

Includes: Desktop, 22 inch widescreen LCD, 3 in 1 printer.

Now before people mention this, I know the graphics card is crappy but I am going to wait for the new cards to drop a bit in price before I get them so I'm fine with it.

My biggest question is whether the 64 bit process is a problem.  I've seen some performance benchmarks which said this was good, but not great and was only overclockable to ~3.2 ghz.  Are there any compatibility issues for the 64 bit vs the standard 32 bit programs?

Since the monitor standalone would cost ~$220 at least on Newegg, this makes it a ~$650 computer which looks pretty decent to me.

Stats on desktop:

Monitor:

  • 5 ms response time
  • 700:1 contrast ratio; 280 cd/m² brightness
  • 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution; 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles

I don't really care for the printer at all.

Opinions?
