As I said, Infamous is more technically impressive to how much more is going on (i.e how much more complicated the game is) but when they're both on my Panasonic GT Plasma, Mario Kart does not look out of place. It's amazing how much 60fps helps make things look better. But the lighting on levels like Moo Moo Plains etc is spot on and in motion they look great.

If you are using screenshots to make your point, your point doesn't really make sense as I'm talking about how the games look in motion whilst playing them. I can assure you that those screen shots bare no resemblence to how it looks in motion.

Agreed, 100% and especially @bolded.

As beautiful as PS4 and XB1 games are and as big as the tech gap is between them and WiiU, the perceivable difference is no where near what it was last gen.  I can play Infamous or Titanfall for awhile and then switch right over to MK8 or 3D World and they look just fine.  Going from a PS3/360 game to a Wii game was a little painful in the visual department.

i agree with you here, but we just started the generation.  360/ps3/wiiu games top tier games will never look ugly like wii games did and infamous looks amazing for an open world game with a very small budget, we also haven't seen what rockstar  could do. the order 1886 honestly is a huge leap though, i mean it looks better them some cgiome cgi
