I don't see how anyone couldn't like this game unless you just hate 2D action platformers. It's not the best platformer in my opinion, that's debatable, but it's definitely one of the best.
Best version of SotN btw is part of Dracula X Chronicles. New better voiced dialogue, a few new pieces of equipment. and Maria is playable like Richter, and unlike NitM on Saturn, she plays like Rondo of Blood Maria.
