That being said, i and most gamers, see sales for reference, respectfully disagree.

If you use sales to determine whether something is good or not, I'm sure you'll agree that Call of Duty is the greatest series ever invented and that the Wii is much better than the PS3 and the 360 ever could dream of being.

Yes. With perhaps the exception of Wii Sports, since that was bundled. 

im not that sure, the first mario sold 40m and the new 2d marios sold shitloads too...
