on nintendo: mario kart, smash, 3D mario, zelda, and metroid.

on xbox: halo. gears. maybe the new fable now that peter is gone. possibly quantum break. probably something else too that i can't name because it is a new ip.

...one dominant console with everyone on it would be amazing i don't care what the "competition is good" people say. i'd rather have one console with all games.

Me to, with the way things are going one platform to rule them all would be very good for devs and publishers. They wouldn't have to waste so much money porting.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say "as an industry we don't need Naughty Dog or Nintendo EAD, (or Retro Studios) or even Lionhead becoming a new Sonic Team". - I've studied ludology timelines for college (game design) and the truth is that innovation in games happens when companies aren't going as strongly as they feel they should be. Sonic The Hedgehog - Sonic & Knuckles, Super Mario 64 (granted that was knowing they were starting behind) and Ocarina of Time, Pikmin and Halo (granted that was more knowing they needed to break in) and Melee, Uncharted... notice the trend?
