Can't game and overpriced = not the best device ever made.

I would disagree on both of your thoughts.

The Surface Pro 2 that I have plays many different PC games just fine for me.  It has a 10 inch screen, so the resolution settings don't need to be too high.

As far as the price goes, you don't have to spend the money for the most expensive version of the Surface Pro, you really are just paying for bigger SSD at that point.  If you look at gaming laptops, they will be much higher priced than this.

This is horribly wrong.

You can get a gaming laptop for ~$1000 that will do everything the Surface 3 can, but better. The Surface 3 has no dedicated graphics, which means that you can play some older games, but nothing new. It is horribly overpriced, as to even come close to the capability of a $800 laptop you need to pay over $1200 to get the faster processor. By the time you add in a keyboard on a 12 in. behemoth tablet, it'll only be slightly more portable than a standard 13 in. laptop.

Also, storage is severely limited. I can get a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, i7 Haswell, and an SSD/HDD combo for around $1000, much cheaper than the Surface.

There's a reason Windows tablets don't take off. They may be nice, but laptops do all that they are able to and much cheaper.
