I need to give credit MS for producing a great product in some sense but there are some fundamental issues with it, which I don't know why MS is adamant on...

- The kickstand is a bad idea. Why can't MS just produce Surface with a clam shell design. At least make it as an option to be able to use it like a traditional laptop.

- It has to come with keyboard included! Like a regular laptop. Asus, HP, Lenovo did it, why can't MS do it? This is primarily a laptop, occasionally used as a tablet, so everybody needs a keyboard. Otherwise I'd go with a bay trail hybrid such as Asus transform book.

- The pricing is outrageous. I can buy a regular laptop (maybe not that fast but still plenty fast) + and ipad (which has way better tablet experience) for the same price. Or better yet, I can go with macbook air. Even if I detest OSX, I can still run windows on it via bootcamp or virtual machines.

Either way, MS should prove itself in this segment. High pricing like this is a terrible idea. MS usually has all the talent they need, but they just don't have the managerial people to get and execute the ideas properly.
