Well the 1st sentence is true....I have no reason to argue otherwise. Secondly, I am merely surprised 2014 is even happening the way it is for both MS given they are still growing but especially Sony, given how they have many more established studios at their disposal. Sorry but I just find it odd they didn't plan out 2014 very well for AAA releases, given their considerable resources. You wanted me to explain myself and there you go. I think more people should be calling Sony out on this. |
Everyone is entitled to their opinion I guess. But no one needs to be called out on anything. Especially not Sony. And when you talk like this it goes to show that there is some bias in your comments. Didn't plan 2014 better? Funny you say that then mention if sony doesn't have 5 AAA games each year..... From november last year to november this year we will have got knack, KZ, infamous, driveclub, Resogun, MLB:TS and TLoU. That is a really great first year if you ask me. Better yet, 3 of the games in that list are new IPs.
I also think its really really really obtuse that a lot of people treat multiplat games as if they aren't also games. Every multiplat is an excluive to the platform you buy it on. If i were getting BF4 on my PS4, it really doesnt matter to me if its also on the XBO or PC. Only one version of that game will exist for me, cause no one is going to buy the game on more than one platform or no one will buy the PS4 and XBO so they can buy two different versions of one game.
And don't even get me strated on the amount of great indies so far too (stryder, transistor, child of light). But I am sure by your logic those kinda games don't count.
OT:
2015 will be a great year, thinking about all the games that should potentially release that year I can't help but feel that sony will push some back just to decongest the release window.
