Is the argument of a Wii Hard Drive still warrant discussion?

I do hope they get the storage issue worked out. I don't know how fast the SD Transfer rate will need to be, but if they can improve/verify proper speeds on data transfer on the SD cards, then I say stay away from HDD as they can be unreliable. SD Cards can also be unreliable, but at least they don't have moving parts. My plan to fix this storage issue: firmware update for support of High Capacity SD cards.

Then I would hope that devs would make an MMO for the Wii and sell a SD Card with the game that allows for updates and DLC and the like. Perhaps even have games sold entirely on a single SD card. The load times would/should be nearly non-existent at that point.
