Edge flickering is not a stat, it's hurting my eyes because it's visible and everywhere. That's why God invented AA. But Nintendo had to decide yet again that they're above God.

Do you mean it actually hurts your eyes? Because I can't imagine how bad graphics can hurt ones eyes. Looking at the sun directly, that hurts, but I just think you're being a little overly dramatic.

Read his latest thread. The guy is on a whining streak.
Sure, graphics with proper AA are always better. But he's making a big deal out of nothing here. People have praised the game's visuals left and right despite the absence of AA. He wouldn't make that big a deal if it wasn't for DF pointing out all the details for him.

I do think he is making a bigger deal then it is, but it's not for nothing, if your expecting 1080p with some AA and you get 720p with no AA thats a pretty huge downgrade.
|
Why would people expect a native Wii U game to be 1080p?
It's not like Nintendo announced that the game would have that resolution to begin with.

Eurogamer claimed it was 1080p and I guess too many people wanted to believe it and didn't stop to think it might be too good to be true. I doubt the opinions in this thread would have been so extreme (in both directions) if that claim hadn't been made in the first place. Just goes to show you shouldn't believe all you see on the internet.
And the game isn't even out yet...
