Yes you are right.
Maybe the first mission on GTA 5 was so annoying for me because i never played lot's of GTA.
I don't have much experience and I'm not familiar with that game that much.
It was just so annoying that the game gives hard and frustrating mission right at the beginning.
Eventually You are right.
Everyone has his favorite genres and games that his more comfortable with.
