Hmm.. You're basically saying that I'm dumb and that I have a very low sense of quality because I've bought Wind Waker HD and planning on buying TLOU Remastered. :/
Old games: I've given my TLOU PS3 copy to a friend after finishing SP almost 3 times and played lots and lots of hours in MP. I miss being able to fire up the MP and I haven't played the Left Behind DLC so I'm going to buy the PS4 version. Does that make me stupid and mean that I'm satisfied with a fork?
MGS GZ: I didn't buy this but I fully understand those who did. It looks great and even though you can reach the credits after 10 minutes you can also chose to pour lots of hours in it like some of vg's posters have.
DLC: I rarely buy DLC but as long as it isn't on disc or day one I think it's awesome to have the OPPORTUNITY to get more content and support to your favorite game. I hope that you would never consider buying any SSB, Mario Kart or Pokémon DLC. Whether it be digital or physical (NFC figurines). That would make you quite a hypocrite.
Online payment: I was a PS Plus subscriber long before I bought a PS4. Free games on PS4, PS3, PS Vita. This isn't only online payment. Also I had almost 10 years of free online MP on PS3 compared to the competition so now that I get free games I am okay with paying £2.5 a month.

a question for you: what reason are you giving to developers to make new games if you buy the same ones over and over?

I'm not buying the same games over and over again. Besides some of the GTA games I've never bought the same game more than 1 time. I'd like to complete the Left Behind DLC but it's not possible because I no longer have my PS3 copy. You want me to skip the Left Behind DLC on the PS4 disc just to punish Naughty Dog for bringing an updated version of a PS3 game. Easy now. Naughty Dog has 2 large teams besides the few people making TLOU Remastered. New games will come.
These days Nintendo is bashed for not making new IPs. But why should they. What reason are you giving them to make new IPs when you only buy games from the same 5 franchises? I know a lot of Nintendo owners do buy other games (myself included) but look at Wonderful 101's bad sales for instance. That's not encouraging Nintendo or any other developer to experiment with new IPs. Instead they'll just keep making safe hits like 2D/3D Mario, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash Bros, Zelda and Donkey Kong.
