Discussing Nintendo Wii U and comparing it to XBOX ONE or PS4 is just nonsense. Nintendo fans are going to still enjoying their great franchaises and creativity, but there is no contest in hardware. The XBOX ONE is just slower than PS4 period. The GPU of PS4 is known to be 50% faster. And the PC has the benefit of choise. You can have a slower PC than PS4, or one that makes the PS4 looks like Poo, performance speaking. A Radeon R9 295 X2 that costs 1500 USS and has 500W of power has more than 5 times the PS4 teraflops.
The only thing that i would have liked is next gen to be powerfull enough to run games with good textures and lighting at 1080p and 60 fps. Seems that consoles came short this time. But they have to be on a power envelope. In 2006, 7th gen, there were no graphic cards consuming 250 W. Now every high end graphic card consumes more than that and a PS4 or XBOX dont even get to 200 with all the aditional hardware.
