Games were great for their time but going back and playing them, things really have improved since then. Pretty much any game from the PS2 era (they didn't figure out what to do with the right stick until then) and earlier almost all suffer from this. Even my beloved Wave Race and Star Fox 64 just don't get the blood pumping like they used to. Chrono Trigger was easily one of my favorite games of all time but when I got it for DS, I never finished it. I'm about 75% done but I just wasn't able to wrap it up.
