is a sample of new releases for PS4 in the last 90 days.

There are 40 games, out of which only 11  can be classified as shooters, if you reeeallly stretch the meaning of that word.

So, in this sample only a bit more than 25%, which certainly isn't a vast majority.

For more in depth analysis I lack time and patience...


alot of those are smaller PSN games. If you want to count those,then fine,you have a point. I%99 of games I get are from retail and the majority of those are shooters.
