Would be the first gen in which Japan is slow to adopt the new tech. Why do you think it is different this time? What makes you think sales for any non-handheld will get better with time?

Umm no it wasn't, ps3 was the same way. The market is different now as well, things change. It's common sense, and anyone who is not in massive deniakl knows Final Fantasy , metal Gear, etc (Insert game here)...will greatly improve sales,
