Ofc any game could help, would it have had a significant impact on Wii U sales? I doubt it considering 2D fighters are not system sellers and the game was not received very well by reviewers. Conker is not a big name also, I don't think any of its games have cracked 1m sales. The only IP I see that would help is Banjo and Nintendo would probably have to develop it themselves, which means taking resources away from another game.
